The Set Piece is a unique part of the Cantonese opera repertoire. However, this special feature is now rarely found in other Chinese regional operas, and even modern Cantonese opera troupes seldom perform the Set Pieces. Cantonese opera veterans will share the difficulties of restoring Set Pieces and discuss their work in preserving traditional Cantonese opera treasures.
