Baroque Orchestra as he coaches Hong Kong Baptist
University's Collegium Musicum Hong Kong, audiences
will gain a better understanding of the characteristic
interpretations of Baroque music as well as the
different instrumental techniques of the Baroque style.

This masterclass will focus on the interpretative styles and techniques of the
Baroque oboe. Together with the Freiburg Baroque Orchestra - and the likes of the
Academy for Ancient Music Berlin, the English Baroque Soloists and the Amsterdam
Baroque Orchestra - Katharina Arfken has given concerts all over Europe and the
USA. She teaches historical oboe at the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis and regularly
holds masterclasses in Europe.
